Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other situations as suggested by your physician.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as pre-scripted by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with food intake. It may take 2 - 3 weeks before you feel the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
More Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Anafranil with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Don't take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
