Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other conditions as advised by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as directed by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
More Information
Anafranil can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Anafranil with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Don't take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your physician.
