Drug Uses
Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic and is used for healing of infections caused be certain bacteria.
How Taken
Take Bactrim with or without a meal. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink several extra glasses of water, unless otherwise advised by your [[doctor|physician]. Do not stop taking Bactrim without your doctor`s approval, even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Bactrim may cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to Bactrim. Take a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Don't share this drug with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor.
