Diovan is used for curing of high blood pressure alone or with other drugs. It is also used for treating heart failure in patients who don't tolerate angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Use Diovan as recommended by your physician. Take Diovan with or without a meal. Use Diovan on a regular schedule to get the most benefit from it.
Diovan can cause drowsiness or dizziness. These effects can worsen if Diovan is taken with alcohol or certain other pills. Take Diovan with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this medicine. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, visit your physician. Diovan should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Don'tt take less or more or take it more often than suggested by your doctor.
