Diovan is used for curing of high blood pressure alone or with other drugs. It is also used for handling heart failure in patients who don't tolerate angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Take Diovan as advised by your physician. Take Diovan with or without a meal. Take Diovan on a regular schedule to get the most benefit from it.
Diovan may cause drowsiness or dizziness. These effects may worsen if Diovan is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Diovan with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, talk to your physician. This drug should be used only by the patient for whom it has been determined. Do nott take less or more or take it more often than advised by your physician.
