Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic and is used for healing of infections caused be certain bacteria.
Use Bactrim with or without a meal. It is suggested to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink several additional glasses of water, unless otherwise advised by your [[doctor|physician]. Do not stop taking Bactrim without your doctor`s approval, even if you feel better.
Bactrim can cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you respond to this drug. Take a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Don't share this drug with others for whom it was not prescribed. Don't use this drug for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician.
