Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other situations as prescribed by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Anafranil as ordered by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with food intake. It can take two - three weeks before you feel the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Anafranil can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Don't take less or more or take it more often than directed by your physician.
