Mission Statement & Goals

  • Publication of the book, PUPPETRY IN EDUCATION AND THERAPY:UNLOCKING DOORS TO THE MIND, edited by Matthew Bernier and Judith O’Hare. All proceeds after expenses will go to the Puppeteers of America. Publication date is set for June 2005 to coincide with the Puppets:Education Magic Institute in Andover, MA and the PofA National Festival in Minneapolis

  • The Puppets:Education Magic Institute which will be held at Merrimack College in Andover, MA, June 29, 30, July 1, 2005. Members of the Puppetry in Education and Thearpy along with members of the Boston Area Guild of Puppetry will be the workshop presenters and performers. It is the hope of the PIE/T committee that this Institute will be held in another part of the country on alternating years.
