Compagnie Les Anges au Plafond
Le Cri Quotidien (The Daily Scream)
A woman sits down to leaf through the daily paper. However, today’s news refuses to be nonchalantly skimmed and jumps right into her face! The information unfolds into little paper marionettes ready to spit out their truths, their venom or their poetry. At the next table, a cellist sits, reading an unusual musical score. She joins in the newspaper narration to compose a fugue punctuated by the sound of the pages turning.
One building, five apartments and six main characters. Comical Tragical personalities, leading a miserable life which they aren’t afraid to lose but they are afraid to live.
Caws & Effect
Crows are re-dreaming the world. Is the future all it’s cracked up to be? Large scale shadow theatre from a bird’s eye view. Funny, beautiful and unique, with handmade layered projections, puppetry, masks, & an original musical score.

The Magic Tree
Adapted from a play named Kanlı Kavak of Turkish shadow theatre performer Muhittin Sevilen, The Magic Tree is a story about nature and protecting the environment. A tree grows green in the middle of a neighborhood Karagoz cuts the branches from the tree for firewood. After sometime he learns the tree was magical. He and his friend are punished by the trees magic and transformed into a donkey and goat.

Kaytek the Wizard by Janusz Korczak
Kaytek, a mischievous schoolboy who wants to become a wizard, is surprised to discover that he is able to perform magic spells and change reality. This story speaks to every child’s dream of freeing themselves from the endless control of adults, and shaping the world to their own designs. Inspired by a European style, puppeteers perform hand-and-rod puppets and take on characters, all in front of an animated screen.
The Hoarding Show
This multi-puppet, one woman show, features three separate tales of hoarders including the story of the infamous Collyer Brothers told with intricate shadow puppets, a renter facing eviction depicted with miniatures, and an object theater satire selling you a hoarding starter kit! A thoughtful comedy with enigmatic moments that will leave the audience excited to share their experiences.

The Pied Picker
Picker Pete sets off on a journey to become a rich and famous banjo picker in the town of Hamlin and meets a host of familiar fairy tale characters along the way. He also saves the town from a herd of hungry roaches. He also meets a band of hillbilly roaches and learns the value of making music with others.

Seven Deadly Sins in the Boarder
The Coyote Virgilio help at the illegal Dante to pass the border, but first need to pay all his sins in the Purgatory. “Based on the the second Act of Dante’s Divine Comedy, Purgatorio, Seven Deadly Sins in the Border shows Dante’s spiritual journey from the U.S. manufactured ‘hell,’ in Mexico, up through a tortuous reflection of his own shortcomings as he tries to reach the ‘Earthly Paradise’ advertised in the United States”
Hobey Ford’s Golden Rod Puppets
Sea Song, is the story of a boy’s discovery of the natural world at the seaside. This production follows the life cycle of the sea turtle and the fragile interwoven environment of animals living at the edge of land and sea. Sea Song is performed in the style of Ford’s Animalia series featuring his beautiful carved foam animals performed in full view of the audience.
Horror of the Night Shade
Portland 2016, a booming metropolis of shops, restaurants, and bike lanes but unknown to the thousands of newcomers an ancient evil has been lying in wait…to be released! That’s when the HORROR OF THE NIGHT SHADE begins!
Mario the Maker Magician
As seen on Sesame Street and Sprout and live on tour in 2018 with David Blaine, MARIO THE MAKER MAGICIAN is known for his dedication to the Maker Movement and his clever and refreshing integration of DIY electronics and robotics into his performance. His menagerie of handmade props include several autonomous, robotic sidekicks that straddle the words of magic, robotics, and puppetry. It’s vintage meets the future; Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin for the modern age.
Kurt Hunter Marionettes
Penguin in my Pocket
Penguin in my Pocket tells the fun-filled and quirky tale of a penguin scientist who crash lands in the jungle when her experimental jetpack fails, and how she works with an artistic monkey to find her way home – encountering a sea monster along the way. It’s a solo show featuring marionettes, rod puppets, audience member puppeteers and live concertina music. The production was supported by a grant from the Jim Henson Foundation.
The Doubtful Sprout
Get ready to explore the world under your feet in this underground puppet adventure. Tunnel down with Worm and Sprout as they discover the mysterious life found inside soil. Along the way, kids help figure out the secrets that help Sprout grow. Award-winning puppeteer, Liz Joyce, brings this ecological wonderland to life with multiple puppetry styles, projections and song.
“Still Life” is a collection of nonverbal shadow puppetry vignettes. With lighthearted wit, Matt Sandbank creates worlds which playfully confound the expectations of his characters–and of his audience! This show has been supported in part by the Puppeteers of America Rose Endowment Fund.
Not your traditional marionette variety show! Rasputin’s Marionettes edgy style has includes a varied and unconventional slant on puppetry. From foul-mouthed adult monologues, to wanton burlesque dames, and shocking holiday characters, Rasputin’s Marionettes has pushed the envelope of what adult puppetry can showcase to shocked and amused audiences.

Cellula illuminates the true marvels of cell science inside us all with dazzling glow in the dark puppetry and mesmerizing live acapella music. Like a bedtime story as told by biologists, Cellula fuses a unique style of playful naturalism with scientific beauty.
Tarish “Jeghetto” Pipkins
Join Jeghetto in his workshop as he creates his puppets and breathes life into them right before your eyes. Watch Jeghetto get lost in his imagination as he creates his unique puppets out of recycled materials. This production gives you a glimpse of this puppeteers process with visual projections, spoken word and hip hop beats.
Animal Cracker Conspiracy
A multi-media puppet theater workshop that engages histories of global urban development and transforms commerce, architecture and politics into poetry, movement and sound.Presented by Iain Gunn and Bridget Roundtree, Paper Cities explores the growth of a city and its relationship with and through paper, taking a particular look at contemporary ‘realities’ and the intertwining of archetypal patterns that have both plagued, epitomized and exalted the idea of the city in collective memory.
Told through table top puppetry, Diggity Dog Days follows Jack the Dog as he explore his house, the yard, the dog park, the pound, the chicken coop, and the sidewalk giving you a dog’s eye view of life’s changes.
David’s Dueling Dummies
Comedy, voice tossing, story telling, and music. David’s Dueling Dummies is a ventriloquist show featuring the wisecracking antics of the lovable Simon Spencer, America’s grouchiest farmer, Leonard Cribble, and the totally clueless Lars Gunderson.
